The more research we conduct on CN, the more we find out about its abysmal safety and environmental record, particularly in rail yards, right across North America. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada and U.S. federal regulators have repeatedly criticized CN’s safety record. The vast majority of derailments in Canada involve CN trains. CN has also caused many major fires across the country. As well, CN is in hot water over the way it treats its employees.
