Two More CN Derailments

It’s difficult to keep track of all the CN derailments. Following are two more recent ones:

1. March 15, 2012: 22 empty cars derailed on CN’s main line about 35km east of Melville, Saskatchewan (Leader-Post).

2. March 20, 2012: 4 cars and 1 engine derailed in CN’s Ogden Rail Yard in southeast Calgary. A CN conductor was reported to have suffered injuries when he jumped from the train. A fuel tank on the engine was punctured and fuel leaked onto the ground (CBC News, Calgary Herald).
