Conductor Killed in CN Derailment
A 30-year-old CN conductor was killed November 28, 2012 in a derailment at a CN yard about 180km north of Fort St. John, B.C. (Canadian Press, QMI Agency).
CN workers were apparently switching cars on and off a train when a fuel tanker derailed and rolled onto a CN employee. The RCMP, Coroner’s Service, WorkSafe BC and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada are all involved in investigating the accident.
